Think about a visit
Come visit our campus in Dallas to see how you can take advantage of academically rigorous courses and the vast resources throughout Big D, which is within a four-hour flight from most North American cities.
DAILY VISITS are offered Monday through Friday and include an admission information session, a campus tour with a Residential Commons tour and an information session in your academic college. We also can help you personalize your day and arrange for you to sit in on a class, meet with a professor and eat lunch with current students during the school year. In Spring 2020, Admitted First Year students will have a separate admitted information session and campus tour as part of their Daily Visit registration.
TRANSFER FRIDAY VISITS are specialized visits on Fridays for any student interested in transferring to SMU. These visits are specifically designed for transfer students and include a transfer admissions presentation, a campus tour, lunch on campus, and an information session in your academic college.
WEEKEND VISITS offer a campus and Residential Commons tour as well as an information session on selected Saturdays during the spring and fall.
GROUP VISITS are offered for groups of 15 – 40 students in ninth through 12th grades on most Mondays – Fridays. You can choose an admission information session, a campus tour, or both.
Please note: When classes at SMU are canceled because of inclement, admission programs and tours will be cancelled as well. Campus closures will be announced on SMU’s homepage, www.smu.edu.
