New Windows computers across SMU are now being deployed using Windows Autopilot, with devices now set up as Microsoft Entra-joined rather than hybrid-joined to our traditional on-premises Active Directory. Here's what that means for you.

Canvas Plus: July 2026 Edition

SMU Instructors will be happy to know that New Quizzes in Canvas now allow partial credit for questions, providing a more accurate assessment of student understanding. Also, recent changes in IgniteAI have some features, such as the Rubric Generator, being removed.
