Technology Blossoms Over Winter Break

In order to enhance the SMUFlex experience this Spring, we installed new technology in many of the rooms over winter break and made a few other changes based on student feedback.
Manage Your List Subscriptions

All bulk email lists were recently refreshed for the upcoming spring semester. If you wish to unsubscribe from any of the Campus Lists or School Lists, you can do so at mylists.smu.edu.
 
Zoom Spaces Provide Physical Space for Virtual Meetings

To provide quiet spaces for students to study or attend an online class while on campus, several rooms have been set aside as Zoom Spaces, which can be reserved up to two weeks in advance.
 
Accessing Specialized Software from On-Campus or Off

Many courses require access to specific software applications in order to complete assignments.  In order to provide access from both on and off-campus, we have implemented a new lab solution to augment our existing environments.

The Adobe and Microsoft Certification program will continue this spring as a free resource for faculty to utilize in their classes and for all SMU community participants for professional development.
