Hi! I’m Sergio Boñon, born and raised in Peru. I’m a rising second-year student in the Two-Year Full-Time MBA program, specializing in Finance. I’m a huge basketball fan and a die-hard LA Lakers supporter. What I love most about Dallas is the food, the sports culture, and, of course, the people. In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing sports, and meeting new people.

Octavio Burguette

Hi! My name is Octavio Burguette. I am currently a rising sophomore studying Management Science at SMU, and I am considering pursuing a double major, although I have not yet decided in which area. Hi everyone! My name is Gerry, and I am a sophomore international student from Mexico studying Finance and International Studies. I chose SMU because I really liked the finance program at Cox, and I thought the campus was beautiful. What I like most about being in Dallas is how everyone pushes you to become a better person. I am very interested in finance, entrepreneurship, airplanes, and water skiing. I also enjoy learning new things and connecting with people from across the U.S. and around the world. Hi! I’m Han, an MBA candidate at the Cox School of Business. I am concentrating on Strategy and Business Analytics, building on my previous career in infrastructure engineering and information systems. I chose SMU for its incredible Dallas location and the chance to meet a diverse, global community of professionals. When I’m not in the classroom, I’m usually outdoors hiking or practicing the arts of calligraphy and flower arrangement. Hi! I’m Susan Rosales, a rising senior at SMU Cox School of Business, driven by a passion for creativity and the arts. I thrive on turning ideas into meaningful projects that reflect a part of me while also making an impact. This mindset carries into everything I’m involved in on campus, including SMU LOOK and SMU HOLA, where I contribute through creative design and storytelling. I love being part of spaces that celebrate culture, community, and expression. Moving to Dallas for college has been exciting, and I love how easy it is to find things to do, from concerts to new restaurants around the city.
