Here's a quick guide to verify your SMU enrollment. Log in via my.SMU or — if you need verification before the term starts — email registrar@smu.edu. If you're a former student, email the National Student Clearinghouse at service@studentclearinghouse.org.

1098-T tax form

Get your tax information online by logging into Heartland ECSI by Dec. 31, or wait for a paper copy to arrive by Jan. 31. Non-resident alien students must request their 1098-T directly from SMU by March 1.

Third-party and special billing

These services are dedicated to supporting students and their families by simplifying the tuition payment process through partnerships with employers, government agencies, qualified tuition plans, and external sponsors. Fore more information, visit Bursar website.
