Welcome Dallas County Community College District Students!

We’re glad you’re interested in joining our community. As part of SMU's commitment to recruiting transfer students to the University, we have established articulation agreements, and a reverse transfer credit agreement with DCCCD. Equivalencies for most Texas Common Course Numbering System courses are found on the DCCCD Transfer Equivalency Guide, which also allows students to build their own transfer evaluation report using completed courses and grades. Additionally, Transfer Pathway Guides for the University Curriculum and many SMU majors include TCCNS course numbers to help you choose courses that fill specific SMU degree requirements.

Senami Yann-Hermann Olonade

Major: Accounting

Quote: “Being an SMU student has given me many opportunities to network and apply for internships at competitive firms all over the nation.”

Claudia Natasha Farah Yacoub

Major: Public Relations

Quote: “Transferring to a new university is challenging but SMU's Transfer Services helps to make the transition easier. Monica Gomez, Assistant Registrar for Transfer Services, talked to me about all the resources available to transfer students. She gave me direction and kept communicating with me to make sure I was adjusting well."
