High Performance Computing (HPC)

SMU offers several high-performance computing (HPC) options for computational research and teaching. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the SMU Center for Research Computing work together to provide the computational resources and tools required by SMU’s faculty, researchers, and students to accelerate advances in research and teaching innovation.

SuperPOD

The SMU NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD Advantage is a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster, gifted to SMU by NVIDIA, specifically tailored to meet the demands of artificial intelligence (AI) research.

M3 HPC

The M3 high-performance computing (HPC) cluster is a shared-access super computer for computational research and teaching.

Genuse

The Genuse computing environment is a shared Linux compute environment for instruction and research by SMU faculty and students for designated course and research work.
