Through TALA, Perez has organized numerous seminars related to entrepreneurship and the arts, and assisted hundreds of creatives with establishing best practices for their businesses. She has also been afforded the opportunity to work with many entrepreneurs as a presenter in the SMU Big iDeas program, and as a mentor with the Dallas Entrepreneurial Center. Perez was recently elected as a board member of The Cedars Union, a new art incubator in Dallas providing entrepreneurial programming and art space and materials to artists in North Texas.
