Meadows Academic Programs Committee

The purpose of the Meadows Academic Programs Committee (APC) is to review curriculum, program proposals, and academic policies and procedures to ensure they are consistent with the strategic academic priorities of both SMU and the Meadows School of the Arts. Departments and Divisions may propose new programming, modify existing programs, or close or discontinue a program. Approval must be achieved first at the level of the division or department; then Meadows APC; then SMU’s EPC and Board of Trustees (in most cases).
