Daniel Heberle

Daniel Heberle is a Ph.D. student in the RASC/a: Rhetorics of Art, Space and Culture program in art history at SMU. He received his B.A. in art history from the University of Rochester in New York. Heberle specializes in early-modern European painting with a focus on Habsburg portraiture. Additional research interests include art academies and workshops, and the distinctions of liberal art and craft in early-modern Spain.
