Sync the Gradebook with the Syllabus

The Canvas gradebook should mirror the syllabus in how students will earn their grade. This minimizes student misunderstandings on their progress in a course. All assessments that are listed in the syllabus should be set up in Canvas, even if the assessment is a physical paper submission or a participation grade. This allows for the faculty to quickly enter and distribute grades to students. Gradebook assists faculty to be efficient and allows students to gauge their progress in class.
