Set up a Point-based Gradebook

Setting up a point-based gradebook is simple in Canvas.  All assessments set up within the Assignment or Quiz area will automatically contribute the calculation of the final grade in the gradebook.  Make sure the points for each quiz or assignment points are correct. Creating groups within the Assignment area does not affect the calculation of the final course grade. The grade percentage calculates according to the total points possible for the course.
