Philip Wise ’78, ’81 takes the reins

Dear fellow Mustangs,

I’m excited to begin my two-year term as SMU Alumni Board Chair. I’m thankful to Kristin Henderson ’82 for her leadership as Chair since June of 2021 and for her continued guidance as the Board’s Past Chair for the upcoming year. I look forward to championing the collective work of all of our boards – including the Young Alumni Board, Black Alumni, Latino Alumni, and Asian Pacific Islander Alumni affinity boards -  to create a thriving community where all alumni are empowered to go, give, help and connect. In this position, I also have the opportunity to provide feedback on alumni interests as a member of SMU Board of Trustees, so if you have an idea to share, I hope you’ll reach out!
