Thursday, October 31
6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. dinner and presentation 

The Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony honors outstanding leaders in philanthropy, business and civic life with the highest honor the University can bestow upon its graduates. Hosted by President R. Gerald Turner and the SMU Alumni Board, the 2024 ceremony will honor Jorge Baldor ’93; Kelly Hoglund Compton ’79; Hon. Terry R. Means ’70 ’74; Emerging Leader Award Recipient Trent Redden ’06; and Distinguished Honorary Alumni Award Recipient Caren Prothro. 


Reunion parties

Alumni can participate in tours of SMU’s campus landmarks and new additions, like the redesigned Meadows School of the Arts.

We are excited to welcome the classes of 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 this year!

Alumni and Reunion Village

Reunion Village is excited to welcome undergraduate alumni and their families, including those celebrating their reunion years. Attendees can enjoy food, beverages, games and children’s activities. There is something for SMU fans of all ages.
