Admitted Student Presence

Location: Hughes-Trigg Student Center (HTSC) / Blanton

Throughout the day, admitted students and families will experience campus life, connect with the SMU community, and take part in Founders Day Weekend programming.

Lyle Admitted Students Day (***)

Time: 8:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: Lyle

A full day designed for future engineers to explore academics, resources, and student life within Lyle.

Audience: Invite-only / intended audience.

Registration: Managed by SMU Admissions.

Golden Mustangs Lunch (*)

Time: Noon – 2:00 p.m.

Location: IPC Miller Boulevard Ballroom

A special gathering honoring SMU Golden Mustangs. Enjoy a meal and meaningful conversation while reconnecting with fellow alumni.

Alumni Panel (*)

Time: 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Collins Crum Auditorium

Join a lively conversation with Mustangs from across the decades as they share stories and perspectives on what makes SMU so special.

Audience: Open to all. Primary audience includes alumni and parents.

Founders Weekend Happy Hour (*)

Time: 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Location: TBD (Collins or Mack)

Reconnect with Mustangs back on the Hilltop for light bites, conversation, and a celebratory close to the day.

Audience: Open to alumni and parents participating in Founders Day Weekend. This event will celebrate alumni volunteers, especially alumni board members.
