At long last, a full return to campus
Preparations for a safe return to in-person instruction and campus activities continued all summer. An unforgettable fall is beginning to take shape. It’s easy to see why Mustangs keep coming back to this vibrant environment long after they’ve graduated.
Big on tradition
From the blast we have on the Boulevard during football season to the way we celebrate holidays and high points throughout the year – it’s all part of what’s so great about SMU. We take a lot of pride in our community and our more than 100 years of history.
Spaces to learn
Collaboration is at the heart of our best work. New buildings and re-imagined spaces alike have been designed as welcoming environments that bring students with different majors and talents together. They share interests, exchange ideas, tackle research or build community, one conversation at a time.
No place like home
One look at our Residential Commons, and you’ll be hard-pressed to want to live anywhere else. With dedicated support from Faculty in Residence (FiR), Residential Community Directors (RCD) and student leaders, the Commons offer the comfort of safe living environment with the benefits of integrated academic and social experiences.
We’re just getting started
The excitement surrounding the return to campus is just a small taste of the incredible events happening this fall. Mark your calendars for Family Weekend, Homecoming and Celebration of Lights, and get ready to “Pony Up!” all semester long.
SMU is the nationally ranked global research university in the dynamic city of Dallas. SMU’s alumni, faculty and more than 12,000 students in eight degree-granting schools demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit as they lead change in their professions, communities and the world.
