Jamf is an endpoint management solution for macOS and iPadOS devices. It allows us to manage and secure Apple devices with little to no impact to end-users.

Jamf allows us to address IT problems, improve security, and configure devices. In addition, Jamf provides self-service access to an app catalog that empowers you to install University licensed software that you need, when it’s convenient for you.

What to Expect During Migration (October-November 2023)

When your Mac is being moved from our old Ivanti (formerly LANDesk) server to the Jamf management server, here are the steps you'll need to take:

1. A migration window will appear on your screen.
   
2. When prompted, install the new MDM profile. The migration window will walk you through the process.
   
3. A completion status window will appear once the migration is complete. Click OK when all steps are complete.
