Eurhythmics Faculty

Kay Piña is a PhD Candidate at Penn State University. Before moving to State College, Kay was teaching general music and choir, grades K-6th, in Central Texas. Her public-school experience in Title I schools gave her a passion for teaching students of diverse backgrounds and heritage culture. Kay is the current American Eurhythmics Society President and presents on a variety of topics including Culturally Responsive Teaching in General Music, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics.

Steven Robbins has been an elementary general music teacher in the San Antonio/Austin area of Texas for the past 18 years. He is the past vice president of the American Eurhythmics Society and holds the designation of master teaching artist. In addition to being a music educator, Steven has also utilized eurythmics in therapeutic settings with adults as a form of somatic movement therapy.
