SMU summer camps provide skills, experience – and fun!

Summer CampDALLAS (SMU) – SMU is scheduling summer 2018 camps for kids and teens at the main campus in Dallas and SMU-in Plano. Start dates range from early June through early August, depending on the camp. Check camp websites for more information.

SMU SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM AT SMU-IN-PLANO

Explore weekly workshops in app design, drone and robotic engineering, visual arts, problem solving, language arts, as well as SAT and ACT test prep.

LYLE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

The Lyle School of Engineering at SMU offers a variety of summer camp programs for students ranging from rising 6th through rising 12 graders.  The facilities, staff, and curriculum are all unique to the Lyle School of Engineering.  Camps provide a creative environment for students to learn the fundamentals of engineering through hands-on, interactive team projects.  Registration opens March 1, 2018.

Hilltop Sports Camp

Each summer, SMU's Department of Recreational Sports offers Hilltop Sports Camp. The main focus of our camp is to provide a variety of opportunities, both conventional and non-conventional, for kids to maintain healthy and active lifestyles during the summer.  Hilltop is a day camp with weekly sessions beginning in June, 2018.

Boys’ Basketball Camps

The SMU Basketball School provides boys with a competitive and educational experience. Campers will run through Division I drills designed to develop skills, vision and competency. The goal is to teach all aspects of the game and how to play "Mustang-style" basketball. Emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals including: passing, ball handling, shooting, rebounding, defense and teamwork.

Girls’ Soccer Camps

The SMU Girls Soccer Camp accepts players of all levels who have a desire to improve and develop their talents. Every camper receives instruction that not only lets them improve during the week, but also shows them how to practice and improve after camp is over. Each of our campers receives individual and group instruction designed to meet her specific needs and capabilities. Camps sessions range from half day to full day and overnight.

SMU Mustang Swim Camps

Our goal is for you to have fun while training hard and learning from the best. The SMU camp offers one of the lowest camper to coach/counselor ratios of elite camps in the country, allowing the campers a unique opportunity to get individual attention from Olympic coaches, Olympic medalists, and NCAA All-Americans.

Ages: Only swimmers ages 10-17 are eligible for overnight camp registration. Swimmers under the age of 10 are eligible for day camp registration only. Swimmers under the age of 9 are not eligible to participate.

SMU Tennis Camps

SMU will be using both indoor and outdoor courts at our state of the art Tennis stadium, allowing the children to stay fresh even when the Texas heat arrives! Beginning students and advanced will be taught according to their level and no level.
