Pre-College Programs for High School Artists

The SMU Meadows Academy for Young Artists program in Dallas, Texas, provides an introductory college-level experience to help student artists transition from high school to the college level. Courses are offered year-round and are intended for mature high school students with an interest in art at the college level.

Prospective Undergraduate Portfolio Review & Workshop for High School Students and Parents

Considering art as a college major or minor? Come spend the day with us on select dates throughout 2014 and 2015! Receive valuable information about admissions, portfolio requirements, majors/minors, careers and facilities. Students from all high school grade levels are encouraged to attend.

Summer Pre-College Programs

Offered during the summer, the MAYA pre-college programs allow students to experience a taste of life at SMU. Comprehensive in scope and practice, students participate in a variety of art disciplines and general studio workshops/activities.
