Pre-College Programs for High School Artists

The SMU Meadows Academy for Young Artists program in Dallas, Texas, provides an introductory college-level experience to help student artists transition from high school to the college level. Courses are offered year-round and are intended for mature high school students with an interest in art at the college level.

Life Drawing Courses

Offered during the school year, the Meadows Academy for Young Artists Life Drawing with Nude Models courses are recommended for high school students who are interested in pursuing art in college.

Considering art as a college major or minor? Come spend the day with us on select dates throughout 2012 and 2013! Receive valuable information about admissions, portfolio requirements, majors/minors, careers and facilities. Students from all high school grade levels are encouraged to attend.
