Marc V. Patrick ’93 Announced as Meadows 2023 Commencement Speaker
The Meadows Executive Board member and SMU alumnus will serve as the keynote speaker during Meadows’ spring degree recognition ceremony.
Marc V. Patrick ’93 (B.A., Advertising) will be serving as this year’s commencement speaker during Meadows’ spring degree recognition ceremony on Saturday, May 13. Patrick is not only a Meadows alum, but also a member of the Meadows Executive Board.
“This commencement address will be especially meaningful coming from Marc, who is the parent of a graduating student and an alumnus who has accomplished so much professionally,” says Dean Holland.
Patrick will offer the keynote address, welcoming the Class of 2023 – which includes his daughter Jasmine, who will graduate with a degree in film and marketing – to the Meadows alumni family.
Patrick and his wife, Angela, are both graduates of SMU and will celebrate their 30-year college reunion in 2023. Patrick is Vice President, North America Brand Defining, Purpose and Athlete Marketing at Nike and we look forward to having him share some inspirational words with our graduating students.
