Edward Egros

Edward Egros is an adjunct professor teaching Sports, News Media and Social Media Analytics.  He is also a freelance broadcaster working for the FanDuel/TVG sports betting show “More Ways to Win” and appearing regularly on Bally Sports West, “The Football Analytics Show” podcast and several other outlets.

Edward is a proud SMU alumnus who majored in journalism and economics.  Before teaching, he spent several years as a sports anchor/reporter in local television, notably at FOX 4 in Dallas.  He has also worked on a variety of sports analytics studies and projects, from a published college football forecasting model in the Journal of Sports Analytics to giving talks at the New England Symposium on Statistics in Sports and SportCon on communicating sports analytics to a general audience.
