Ruby Thelot is a designer, cyberethnographer and researcher based in New York. He teaches Design and Media Theory at NYU and is the founder of the award-winning creative research and design studio 13101401 Inc.

His research and artwork, which have been shown and presented internationally (The Hague, Berlin, Ljubljana, Abuja, New York City, Montreal, Toronto), focus on the interactions between humans and artificial intelligence, the metaverse, and the implications of being-on-line. He holds a master’s degree in Design and Technology from the Parsons School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in Business from McGill University.
