A PIN will not be provided, as we want you to select the right one for your device.

If you have already configured a pin, there will be no changes to your phone. You will be prompted to accept the policy but will not have to change the PIN number already configured.

Yes. This will affect any staff cell phone configured with Active Sync or Exchange.

No. The PIN is configured never to expire.

The policy was tested for several months on a variety of phone devices by OIT staff before implementing University-wide. The PIN policy worked very well with minimal impact on the customer.
