Cayuse Transition

SMU is transitioning from Axiom Mentor to Cayuse, a new electronic submission system for research protocol compliance reviews. During this transition period, Axiom Mentor modules will remain available to investigators for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposals and Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) disclosures until the corresponding Cayuse modules reach their implementation date, as outlined on the ORI Cayuse site.  To continue accessing the Mentor system, use the Sign In button above.

logoAxiom Mentor is an electronic submission system used by SMU investigators to submit research proposals for the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) disclosures — a regulatory requirement for any investigator who receives external funding for research.

Getting Started

SMU faculty, staff, and students have access to the Mentor system. To begin, select the Sign In button above to log in using Single Sign-On (SSO). If SSO does not automatically log you into the Mentor system, log in using your SMU NetID and your SMU password.
