Showing appreciation for veterans' service

The Bobby B. Lyle School of Engineering at SMU is hosting an event to honor all military service members on Veterans Day, November 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The event, which is open to the campus community, will feature professional and student engineers. It is sponsored by the Dallas Society of American Military Engineers, which promotes and facilitates engineering support for national security.

During the event, signed greeting cards for Soldier’s Angels will be collected, as well as travel-size toiletries and snacks for the USO.
