Favorite thing about SMU: My favorite thing about SMU is how close it is to the heart of Dallas while maintaining a close sense of community! The campus is beautiful but it's even better once you get to know the students. Each one brings a part of the place they call home and incorporates it into the community. Even when you're walking around Dallas, you're guaranteed to see someone proudly sporting the SMU logo.
Favorite place on campus: If I had to pick just one, it would be Dallas Hall. While the view of campus from the top of the steps is certainly incredible, the interior is just as breathtaking!
What I recommend during your stay in Dallas: Take some time to explore the different neighborhoods and districts; you're bound to discover a new favorite shop or restaurant! I recommend spending some time in the Bishop Arts District - it's filled with cozy coffee shops and local vendors.
