Favorite Thing about SMU: There are so many things! The campus is beautiful and the people are wonderful. Overall, I’d say my favorite thing about SMU is how kind everyone is. From the moment I joined the team, I felt supported and welcomed!
Favorite Place on Campus: I’ve spent a lot of time in Hughes-Trigg! I love the hustle and bustle and getting to hear students laugh with their friends. It also has some great lunch options that I frequent as well, can’t beat Chick-fil-A!
Favorite Place in Dallas: I love the Knox-Henderson area. There are so many amazing coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. My favorites are Foxtrot, The Village Baking Co., and Anchor Bar. Plus, it’s right next to the Katy Trail, so you can grab a coffee and walk with friends!
Favorite Restaurant Near Campus: My favorites near campus are Snarf’s Sandwiches and Pokey-O’s!
What I recommend during your stay in Dallas: There is always something exciting happening in Dallas! I’d recommend trying to catch one of our sports teams at home or checking to see if your favorite artist is in concert here! If you love shopping like me, NorthPark is my go-to. Lastly, White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum are beautiful spots, weather permitting!
