SMU Professors Matthew Wilson and Charles Curran talked earlier this week with KERA's Krys Boyd and call-in-guests about Pope Francis visiting the U.S. for the first time. Wilson is an associate professor of political science who specializes in the intersection of politics and religion. Curran is the Elizabeth Scurlock University Professor of Human Values and an expert on the role of the Catholic Church as a moral and political actor in society.
