Electronic Music Studio

The Electronic Music Studio features a control room, isolation booth and equipment/storage room and is equipped for research, creation, production and instruction of electro-acoustic music in a comfortable and elegant environment.

Current software includes Digital Performer, Logic, ProTools, Waves Gold Plugins, MachFive, MX4, Final Cut Studio, MAX/MSP/Jitter, Pea, and Finale, all running on a Mac Pro 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon system with a MOTU 2408 and 8Pre. The Studio provides stereo and 5.1 surround-sound audio monitoring.

Additional equipment includes a Euphonix MC Control, Yamaha Motif ES6 with mLAN expansion board and the Virtual Acoustic Plug-in. Monitors include two 17" LCD displays and a 55" Samsung LCD HDTV.
