Access to Business Newspapers

Current students, faculty, and staff can sign up for free subscriptions to The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Barron’s (click on more… before clicking on the database title for important steps to register), and The New York Times! These journals are valuable sources of information and will be referenced in your classes throughout your time at Cox.  These news sources also have excellent mobile apps so, once you are registered, be sure to download their apps to your mobile device.

If you would rather access business journals and other news sources without signing up, you can always go to the Business Library’s Factiva database, then click on the Home tab at the top.  There you will find Factiva’s Newsstand.  Also, SMU Libraries’ Newspapers Research Guide will help you access even more journals available to the SMU community.
