DALLAS (SMU) - Homecoming 2016 brought back memories and friends long forgotten as SMU honored distinguished alumni, held reunions, and stagged its annual parade. See scenes from the weekend:
Road Trip Home to SMU
Michelle and Michael Carter served as parade Grand Marshals as SMU welcomed students, faculty, alumni, family, and friends to campus for Homecoming 2016.
Distinguished Alumni and Emerging Leader Awards
Philanthropic, civic and business leaders received SMU’s Distinguished Alumni Award. The 2016 Distinguished Alumni were philanthropic leader Sarah Fullinwider Perot ’83, financial services leader John C. Tolleson ’70 and real estate magnate Richard W. Weekley '67. Kevin Lavelle ’08, founder of a revolutionary men’s clothing company, received the University’s Emerging Leader Award.
