A group of SMU students spent their weekend — and part of their fall break — in a quest to design the world’s tallest toy. They were challenged to design a structure made of Superstructs (similar to Tinker Toys) that would set the Guinness World Record at 120 feet.
Five teams of students were challenged to make a prototype at least 20 feet tall. The winning team will be flown to Washington, D.C., to see its full-scale design on display in the National Building Museum. The contest was sponsored by Colorado-based toy company WABA Fun....
