Will Power joins SMU's Meadows School of the Arts

Playwright and performance artist Will Power has had a big presence in Dallas over the last three years: He performed at the gala opening of the Wyly Theatre. He won SMU's Meadows Prize and did an elaborate residency there. He is working on a big commission from the Dallas Theater Center. SMU announced today that he's going to be around even more. Starting next fall, he be artist in residence of the theater division of the Meadows School of the Arts. No word yet on exactly what he's going to do when he gets to Dallas more permanently.
