SMU's Tate Distinguished Lecture Series launches its 31st season
The new Tate Distinguished Lecture Series season began Tuesday at SMU.
Now in its 31st year, the Tate Series brings illustrious leaders from numerous fields to share their unique perspectives and ideas with area residents and students. Tickets to individual lectures may be ordered online at smu.edu/tate or by calling 214/SMU-TATE (214-768-8283).

The Tate Lecture Series is produced by SMU and is presented by The Dallas Morning News and sponsored by WFAA-TV Channel 8, American Airlines, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Turner Construction/Wells Fargo, supported by 570AM KLIF, Sewell Lexus, SMU Student Foundation and The Weitzman Group & Cencor Realty Services. The series annually returns more than $700,000 to SMU each year. A primary beneficiary of these funds is the prestigious President's Scholars Program.
