SMU Professor Peter E. Raad, founder and executive director of The Guildhall at SMU recently talked with KERA's Think host Krys Boyd about whether video games have the potential to teach students social skills, enhance their educational experience and help them cope with the real-life challenges.

Raad is also a professor of mechanical engineering and the Linda Wertheimer Hart Director of the Hart eCenter at SMU.
The Guildhall is the premier graduate video game education program in the US. The program crosses traditional disciplinary lines to combine art, design, software development, business, physical sciences and humanities to create the 21st century's first new academic discipline.
