SMU Anthropology Professor Caroline Brettell, whose research into immigration in Farmers Branch and the DFW area is funded by the National Science Foundation, was a guest on KERA public radio's Think program on May 18.
The interview with program host Krys Boyd about immigrant's social, economic and political impact was a preview to the Dallas Democratic Forum panel discussion, "A Battle for Power: The Economic and Political Impact of Hispanic Immigration in North Texas," scheduled for May 19.
