Southern Methodist University's Lyle School of Engineering will launch its new Project Management Certificate series in the fall. Each will consist of three graduate-level courses taught on weekends and in the evenings. The series will include four certificates: Enterprise Project Management, Construction and Asset Management, Infrastructure Systems Management and Adaptable Project Leadership.
SMU Engineering will offer a new Ph.D. degree program in Systems Engineering. The program will focus on the U.S. defense sector, both contractors and government – civilian and military.
The school of engineering also will offer a new certificate in Global Systems and Sustainable Organizations, which was designed for professionals in manufacturing, government, health care, education and service-related industries who want to develop leadership skills and learn how corporations operate globally and attain a "culture of sustainability."
