Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business recently was recognized as one of the top M.B.A. programs offering the best value for veterans and military personnel using the new GI Bill.

Military MBA, an education network for military officers interested in obtaining a master of business administration graduate degree, released its analysis of the top 20 M.B.A. programs. The resulting best-value list does not rank the schools, but offers a list of the 20 schools that provide the best value for veterans, based on three tiers of quality and value. SMU made it into the third grouping, alongside business schools at Vanderbilt University and Rice University. . .

"All 20 of these M.B.A. schools should be commended for their commitment to working with military veterans and their families,” said Greg Eisenbarth who led research on the project, in a statement.

The list is the first resource of its kind for prospective military students, according to Military MBA. It is intended to help veterans make better decisions when pursuing an M.B.A.

The analysis is based on price and education quality.
