Alight Solution Health Services
Alight Solution Health Services are available to faculty and staff enrolled in one of the SMU medical plans. The cost of Alight services is paid by SMU. Your health information will not be shared with BCBSTX, your doctor, or anyone else – without your personal consent. Your health information will never be shared with SMU.
Dedman Center For Lifetime Sports
Dedman Center for Lifetime Sports provides several free group exercise classes for faculty and staff. These classes are drop-in only classes and are typically offered at lunchtime and in the early evening. Participants will need a Dedman Center membership to attend these classes. Membership for staff and faculty costs just $10 per month and you may apply for membership at the main desk of Dedman Center. Parking is available in nearby garages with your SMU parking sticker.
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to provide confidential counseling and referral services for all full-time and part-time benefit-eligible faculty/staff and their eligible dependents
SMU health officials urge students, faculty and staff to take preventive measures to protect their health against the flu. Because flu can spread by contact with people who are ill, SMU health officials recommend getting a flu shot when they become available in the fall.
