Mary Stall

Mary manages the functions of Organizational Effectiveness and draws on a diverse background in management, education, and sales and marketing, to provide training and development opportunities as well as group facilitation and internal consulting. She also works with employees to develop effective interpersonal skills, time, meeting, and project management skills and coaches employees on developmental and performance management topics. Mary often uses visual facilitation tools to support the process work of groups at SMU. She received her Masters in Dispute Resolution from SMU in 2010. 

In the classroom, you may see Mary facilitating a wide variety of workshops within the Franklin Covey portfolio of training (Five Choices of Extraordinary Productivity, 6 Practices of Leading a Team, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Presentation Skills, Trust and Inspire, etc) as well as Performance Management and Goal Setting, amd Crucial Conversations.  

Mary is also certified to administer the Gallup Strengths and Predictive Index assessments.

Rebecca Sampson

As an HR Senior Specialist:  Employee Relations, Rebecca works with managers and employees, seeking to improve performance on the job. She serves as coordinator for the University's Threat Assessment Team.and manages several programs designed to enhance work - life balance such as the Employee Assistance Program, Flextime/Telecommuting Program and other specialized programs. She actively promotes reward and recognition through the leadership and coordination of the Service Awards program as well as the Presidential Awards.

In the classroom, you may see Rebecca facilitating  Employee Relations Essentials and Intro to HR.
