Parking & ADA Accessibility

Many of Meadows’ performances and events take place in the newly renovated Owen Arts Center, which contains the Bob HopeGreer Garson, and Margo Jones theatres, as well as Caruth Auditorium.

Parking

Meadows offers several free parking options to its event attendees, which is detailed in the map below. Click here for information regarding directions and public transportation.

  1. Our event lot provides limited parking spaces but is closest to the performance venues. This lot can be accessed from both Bishop Blvd and Hillcrest Ave.
  2. For select performances, parking will be available along Bishop Blvd. You may not park on Bishop Blvd on Saturdays or weekday afternoons. Please check with the ticket office to confirm parking is available on Bishop Blvd for the performance you are attending.
  3. Parking in the Meadows Parking Center is free when you enter through the left entrance. Enter campus from Mockingbird Ln onto Bishop Blvd, then turn right on Schlegel St and make a left into the Meadows Parking Center via the leftmost entrance.

ADA Accessibility

Owen Arts Center now features enhanced ADA accessibility at the main entrances located at 6101 Bishop Blvd (campus entrance) and 6110 Hillcrest Ave (west entrance), as well as brand-new restroom facilities with more space and modern amenities. With the exception of the South entrance adjacent to the event lot, all entrances to the Owen Arts Center comply with ADA accessibility standards.

A – The Gene and Jerry Jones Grand Atrium and Plaza entrance. Ramp is located the the right of the Plaza stairs. Direct access to Caruth Auditorium, Bob Hope Theatre, Jordan Student Gallery and Meadows Foundation Gallery.

B – West-facing entrance. Ramp located to the right of the main doors. Direct access to Doolin Gallery, Greer Garson Theatre and Margo Jones Theatre.

C – Jake and Nancy Hamon Arts Library entrance that will also lead you to Caruth Auditorium, Bob Hope Theatre, O'Donnell Recital Hall and Taubman Atrium. 

D – Rogers Center for Visual Arts entrance located on the north side of Owen Arts Center is accessible from Hillcrest Ave and Bishop Blvd via the Harris Promenade.

*Please be advised there is no longer parking available along Hillcrest Ave in front of the Greer Garson Theatre. Patrons may be dropped off at entrance B or C before parking in the event lot located adjacent to entrance D.

Ticket Office

The main Meadows Ticket Office is located in the lobby of the Greer Garson Theatre and is open from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

On the day of ticketed events, a satellite ticket office located outside of the Bob Hope Theatre will open one hour prior to performances held in the Bob Hope Theatre or Caruth Auditorium. The main ticket office in the Greer Garson Theatre lobby will open one hour prior to performances held in the Greer Garson Theatre and Margo Jones Theatre.
