Parking & ADA Accessibility

Many of Meadows’ performances and events take place in the newly renovated Owen Arts Center, which contains the Bob HopeGreer Garson, and Margo Jones theatres, as well as Caruth Auditorium.

Parking

Meadows offers several free parking options to its event attendees, which is detailed in the map below. Click here for information regarding directions and public transportation.

Meadows Parking Map

  1. Our event lot provides limited parking spaces but is closest to the performance halls. This lot can be accessed from both Bishop Blvd and Hillcrest Ave.
  2. For select performances, parking will be available along Bishop Blvd. You may not park on Bishop Blvd on Saturdays or weekday afternoons. Please check with the ticket office to confirm parking is available on Bishop Blvd for the performance you are attending.
  3. Parking in the Meadows Museum is free when you enter through the left entrance. Enter campus from Mockingbird Ln onto Bishop Blvd, then turn right on Schlegel St and make a left into the museum parking garage via the leftmost entrance.

ADA Accessibility

Owen Arts Center now features enhanced ADA accessibility at the main entrances located at 6101 Bishop Blvd (campus entrance) and 6100 Hillcrest Ave (west entrance), as well as brand-new bathroom facilities with more space and modern amenities. All entrances to the Owen Arts Center are handicap accessible.

A – Main campus entrance. Ramp located on the far-right side. Dance, choir, music and opera performances take place on this side of the building.

B – West entrance. Ramp located to the right of the main doors. Theatre performances take place on this side of the building.

C – Alternate entrance that will lead you to the dance, choir, music and opera performance side of the building.

D – Facilities entrance. Once inside the entrance you must call facilities (214-768-2713) to have the elevator sent down to the street level.

E – North entrance. This entrance is handicap accessible but is not parking accessible.

*Please be advised there is no longer parking available along Hillcrest Ave in front of the Greer Garson Theatre. Patrons may be dropped off at entrance B or C before parking in the event lot located next to entrance D.

Ticket Office

The main Meadows Ticket Office is located in the lobby of the Greer Garson Theatre and is open from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

On the day of ticketed events, a satellite ticket office located outside of the Bob Hope Theatre will open one hour prior to performances held in the Bob Hope Theatre or Caruth Auditorium. The main ticket office in the Greer Garson Theatre lobby will also open one hour prior to performances for all other ticketed events.
