Wes Hafer
Wes is from Madison, Wisconsin, majoring in English, with minors in Political Science and Law and Legal Reasoning. In addition to being a Pre-Law Scholar, he is also a Dedman College Scholar and a member of the University Honors Program. Wes interned at the State Attorneys Office – Twentieth Judicial Circuit of Florida in their Collier County office, where he witnessed a wide array of felony, misdemeanor, and civil proceedings. On campus, he is a brother of the Sigma Chi fraternity, which, as a collective, raises hundreds of thousands of dollars every year for the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Wes was also a tutor for Mustangs for Hope, helping elementary students achieve their educational goals. He is currently interviewing for an internship at the Department of Homeland Security in the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor. Outside of the classroom setting, he enjoys any gameday with Philadelphia Eagles football, writing poetry, both free-verse and metrical, and watching American history documentaries. He plans to apply to law school and begin in fall 2027.
