Tessa Peterson

Tessa Peterson is from Montgomery, TX, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology, with minors in Russian, History, and Public Policy & International Affairs through the Tower Scholars Program. A Tower Center Undergraduate Research Fellow and Hamilton Scholar, she has contributed to a forthcoming three-volume textbook, entitled Handbook on Migration and Human Rights, and she has conducted archival research in Ireland as a Richter Fellow. Tessa currently serves as a Student Justice in SMU Student Senate’s Judicial Branch, an SMU Admissions Student Ambassador, and the Editor-in-Chief of The Dialogue, the Tower Center’s peer-reviewed research journal. She has interned with law firms in Dallas and Prague, the Department of Defense, and the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations. After graduating, Tessa hopes to attend law school.
