Ryleigh Etie
Ryleigh Etie is from Morgan Hill, CA, studying Economics and French, with minors in Business and Psychology. She is part of the Pre-Law Scholars program and is actively involved on campus as Communications Chair of the French Club, as well as part of the Programming Council in legal fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. This summer, Ryleigh will be interning with the San José Deputy Alternate Defender’s Office, where she will gain hands-on experience in public defense and criminal law. After graduating in May 2027, she plans to attend law school the following fall to continue pursuing a career in international economic law. Guided by a strong interest in diplomacy and cross-cultural exchange, she aims to help shape policies that connect legal systems, markets, and governments in an increasingly interdependent world. In her free time, Ryleigh enjoys concert-going, reading, and hiking.
