Max Keating
Max Keating is from Southlake, Texas, studying Finance and Political Science with a minor in Public Policy and International Affairs at SMU. He is a Nancy Ann and Ray L. Hunt Leadership Scholar, NexPoint Tower Scholar, and member of the University Honors Program. He serves as the Chief Justice of the SMU Student Senate Judicial Branch. In addition to his work in student government, he serves as Chair of the Willis M. Tate Distinguished Lecture Series, Vice-Chair of the Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility Student Advisory Board, and as a member of the Youth Board of Trustees for Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer. As a member of the Pre-Law Scholars Program, Max is interested in pursuing a career in law and public policy. After graduation, he hopes to enter the workforce or pursue fellowships before attending law school. Outside of his involvement, Max enjoys hiking and photography.
