Isabelle Volfe

Isabelle Volfe (pronounced isuh-belly) is majoring in History. Born in Maringá, Brazil, and now living in Texas, she has been actively involved on campus with Phi Alpha Delta's Philanthropy Committee, SMU’s pre-law organization. She is also a member of the Brazilian Portuguese Speakers Association and enjoys celebrating Brazilian culture while building meaningful connections between SMU students and Brazil.  Academically, Isabelle is passionate about research and historical analysis. She is currently writing a capstone thesis on French history, working closely with SMU faculty to produce and orally defend her work. Because she is graduating a year early, she plans to take a gap year to gain professional experience before attending law school in Fall 2027.
