Ebere Emefiele

Ebere Emefiele is a senior studying Human Rights and Sociology with minors in Spanish and Political Science. Ebere joined the Prelaw Scholars program in August of 2024 because she wanted to learn more about the law school application process, SMU Law, and how to set herself up to be an excellent candidate for law school. She has served for 3 years on the board for The Association of Black Students, 2 years in Student Senate as a Dedman Senator, 1 year as the Events Coordinator for the Human Rights Council, 1 year as Vice President for the Mortar Board Honor Society, and 1 year as the Fundraising Chair for Hilltop LULAC. Aside from being a Pre-law Scholar, she is also a McNair Scholar where she conducted independent research, a Phi Alpha Delta member, and a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.
