Christopher DeGrate

Christopher DeGrate is a senior at Southern Methodist University majoring in Finance & Public Policy. He is actively engaged in research and academic opportunities that combine business, law, and policy, with a particular interest in corporate and civil litigation upon the completion of law school. Outside the classroom, Christopher values mentorship, community engagement, and scholarship as instruments for creating access and opportunity as seen in his involvement on campus. Following graduation, he plans to take a gap year to deepen his connection with his community and complete his research project with McNair Scholars program before pursuing law school full-time in Fall of 2027.
